This is going to allow you to pull a trailer, maybe you have a cargo carrier that requires lighting. This is going to allow those items to receive light functions from your vehicle, so that you can safely pull them and so that everybody know what you're doing, whether that's turning, braking or driving at night.It's going to be both turn signals, your brake lights and your running lights. It's going to give you 2.1 amps per circuit for your stop and turn signals. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Hyundai Elantra- Video
Today on our 2016 Hyundai Elantra we'll be installing a T-1 vehicle wiring harness for a 4 pole flat trailer connector. Part number 1 1 8 6 7 8. We're not using our trailer wiring, we can just reinstall the dust-cap that's included. Open our trunk back up. Lift our spare tire cover back up. Install the wiring down inside and replace it. It's tucked up to of the way. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, we're going to take a look at, and show you how to install, the CURT T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, with the four pole flat trainer connector. Part number is C56126. As you can see, it's nice, out of the way. We don't see any wires hanging out or anything like that. But when we need it, simple as pulling that up, pulling our wire out. That's going to be able to set right over that threshold right there. That padding right there on that weatherstrip gives up plenty of room so we can just close our trunk up, just like that. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Hyundai Elantra- Video
Today on our 2012 Hyundai Elantra, we'll be installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, with four-pull flat trailer connector, part number C56126. We'll go ahead and begin here, by opening up the trunk of the vehicle. Next, we'll need to remove this rear scuff panel. To do this, we'll need to remove three plastic fasteners. Two that have kind of wing nut style design, where you can simply unscrew them with just your hand, and the center location you'll need to use either a large flat-head screwdriver or a trim panel remover tool. Once we have these three fasteners out, we can go ahead and lift up the center scuff panel and set it out of the way. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Hyundai Elantra 118532- Video
Today on our 2012 Hyundai Elantra well be installing the Tow Ready T1 connector, part number 118532. First to start off our install, well need to remove some interior trim panels and fasteners to gain access to the wiring behind the taillights. Well start with the spare tire cover. Well go ahead and remove it and set it out of our way to make the installation easier. Next well remove the rear threshold. The rear threshold has three fasteners securing it into positions, two cargo hooks and one pushpin fastener. more
